Alkalinity vs. Acidity

New flash - alkaline water is NOT good for you!!! (But neither is acidic water) So let’s dive in.

There are so many alkaline waters out there on the shelves of our grocery stores, however, do you know why they are called “alkaline water”?

They have things ADDED to them to make them alkaline... additives, ingredients, bleh, you do NOT want ingredients in your water! Why? This is not a way to get minerals, we do not know if they are bioavailable to our bodies, they sit in our stomach. Also, do you want to be drinking large amounts of sodium bicarbonate? ... aka ... baking soda ... (the main ingredient in Essentia water) yikes! No you do not!

Next let's jump into the problem of acidic waters ...

The most important pH of your body, the blood alkaline. The magic number is 7.365, however our bodies do not produce alkalinity, we have to ingest / consume it. This is why when someone is sick they do not recommend eating burgers, fries and a coke as those are acidic foods. They recommend green foods with a high mineral content - or alkaline. #1 acidic disease is hyper ketoacidosis = diabetes

Bringing this back to water ... Most of the waters and especially most of the bottled waters are acidic ... Remember if we are giving the biggest part of your puzzle more acidity, how will your body remain in more of an alkaline state? Well, it has to pull it from somewhere? It will pull these minerals to make us alkaline from the bones, teeth, organs to neutralize it. (Also, check out the tab on Reverse Osmosis water and why that is the worst acidic water)

Now think of nature, a lightning strike on a lake, a waterfall, an iceberg melting, the himalayas, a glacier, all these things restructure water! What naturally occurs in nature is what Kangen water has captured and puts in our kitchens.

The reason that you can drink Kangen water and not have it interrupt digestion is, IT DOES NOT AFFECT YOUR STOMACH .... Infact, it bypasses your stomach, opens the pyloric sphinctor and goes straight into your intestines where it can have maximum potency.

Kangen water is electrolyzed reduced water (ERW) and the higher pH is a byproduct!

pH stands for potential hydrogen .. that is “true alkalinity” or “pure alkalinity” because there aren't any additives!

Side note: I hope this clears up when you google search “alkaline water” how you can rest assured that Kangen water is NOT in that catergory. Again, the pH is a byproduct and not forced.
